As announced earlier, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ying Zheng, the visiting scholar from the University of Southampton in the realm of TÜBİTAK 2221 - Visitor or Academic Leave Support Program, has conducted several workshops specifically targeting language professors and students in the areas of language testing, assessment, and technology integration into learning as well as testing.

The workshops have focused on the background of language testing and assessment in society, the use of technology for testing, and the statistical aspect in language assessment, with a particular focus on comparative judgment.

Professors and students of the Department of Foreign Languages ​​and the School of Foreign Languages participated in the training sessions paying special interest. The workshops have been orchestrated through presentations by Dr. Zheng, Q&A sessions, and short practices of technology integration into language testing.
